Thumbnails contain all of the information that allows LightBox to:
• Know where to find the corresponding image file
• Keep track of the indexing information
• Draw the thumbnail when pasted into another catalog.

This allows you to freely copy and paste thumbnails (including all of the information associated with each) between catalogs.

LightBox also allows you to specify which type of information to exchange with other catalogs through the “Paste control” menu item.
